REGISTERED NURSE (ENDOSCOPY)

General Requirements

• Diploma or B.Sc. Nursing
• Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
• Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in a 150-bedded hospital within the last 5 years
• Good English communication skills
• Minimum score of IELTS Academic 5.5 or OET minimum score C (for expats)

Job Specification

• Nursing care role within the Operating Theatre, Endoscopy and Surgical Day Care Unit
• Demonstrate understanding of endoscopic nursing care, processes and procedures
• Excellent vital sign monitoring with focus on monitoring post-sedation or general anesthesia, including airway management
• Ability to work effectively independently, and in a team
• Understanding of scope of practice and accurate documentation requirements
• Assist the anesthetist/doctors with any emergency care needs relating to Endoscopy
• Flexible in adjusting to area of practice requirement
