REGISTERED NURSE MIDWIFE (LABOR ROOM)

General Requirements

• General Nursing & Midwifery or Bachelor of Science in Nursing + Midwifery training
• Registered Nurse Midwife at a Licensing Authority
• Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in a 150-bedded hospital within the last 5 years
• Proven experience in a Labor Room
• Good English communication skills
• Minimum score of IELTS Academic 5.5 or OET minimum score C (for expats)

• Nursing care role within the Labor & Delivery Unit
• Demonstrate understanding of nursing care, processes and procedures in area of care
• Proven ability to work effectively independently, and in a team
• Clear understanding of scope of practice and specific role requirements
• Ability to coordinate and manage patient specific treatment requirements accurately
• Assist the doctors with deliveries
• Needs to be flexible to adjust care to specific needs
• Ability to record all details of care and treatment accurately
