General Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Minimum 4 years customer service experience and 2 years managerial or supervisory role in hospital billing, insurance or patient counselling
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Dhivehi
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills

Job Specification

    • Regularly update Guests with billing as per pricing policy
    • Assist the Business Office Manager in managing the departments daily activities
    • Coordinate with the contacting departments concerning billing process
    • Maintain professional and helpful attitude towards staff, guest, consultants and visitors
    • Complete financial and operational counselling of all the admitted patients within 24 hours of admission
    • Give accurate data about the Billing and insurance status
    • Verify accurate inpatient room status information is maintained and properly communicated
    • Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
    • Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count
    • Liaise with Business Office Manager and other department heads as and when required
    • Supervise workload during shifts and evaluate job performance of staff
    • Uphold the hospital's commitment to service excellence
