RADIOGRAPHER

General Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a hospital setting
• Strong X-ray / CT / Mammogram experience and basic MRI experience
• Registered at a Licensing Authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Job Specification

• Explaining proper imaging procedures to patients, positioning patients correctly, and producing x-rays or other images for a doctor
• Perform diagnostic radiological procedures
• Use the RIS and PACS system
• Work under the supervision of radiologist on an as needed basis
• Work with radiologist on film Quality Assurance, exam clarification
• Patient transportation
• Restocking supplies/cleaning
• Administrative work as required
• Patient registration and patient scheduling
• Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required
