Deputy Manager Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Manage development of project scope in liaison with technology partners and operations team and prepare techno-commercial feasibility of projects
• Effectively address day-to-day technical issues and propose solutions in coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the overall engineering management of projects including Civil and MEP works and ensure the issuance of deliverables as per project timelines
• Review the design deliverables to ensure cost effectiveness and compliance to functional requirements
• Control and monitor the engineering progress. Forecast any discrepancies/ gaps and take in time corrective actions without any significant impact on overall project schedules.
• Ensure that prompt, complete clarification and answers are provided to the technical queries from the team, contractors and vendors enabling engineering, procurement and construction to
  progress smoothly.
• Manage and supervise in-house quantity surveyors and draftsmen for issuance of cost effective and codes compliant project deliverables
• Support supply chain team in carrying out fit-for-purpose procurement of required materials and services

Education

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering from PEC recognized university

Experience

• 6+ years of experience of engineering and design at a reputable organization
• Hands on experience of Autocad and other civil/structural engineering software
