Job brief
We are looking for a Manager - MIS to take a challenging and managerial role in the field of Computer programming , database administration and implement the expertise and experience gained in this field to develop complex projects with efficiency and quality for it's Lahore-Head Office.
Responsibilities
- Guide to create, design and execute resource plans for development tasks at group level.
- Interact with the Testers, development team and other stakeholders
- Devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies to address program risks and issues
- Serves as the technical and communications liaison to and from stakeholders.
- Performs complex software/database/hardware troubleshooting, upgrades, patches and re-installations in accordance with established SLAs.
- Ensure pre/post audit requirements are identified and delivered
- Provides consulting/training/education services such as data management and staff training/orientation
- May act as a resource to others to solve problems.
- Monitoring Database performance and managing parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users;
- Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database;
- Considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users;
- Refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model;
- Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata);
- Controlling access permissions and privileges at database level
- Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans;
- Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strategic:
- Application and Database technological upgrades.
- Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the IT policy.
- DRP strategies.
- New technologies inductions.
Developmental:
Explore and pursue new programming and database administration techniques and technologies, to enable learning and knowledge for better career development.
Core Responsibilities
- Strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12, specifically in the following modules:
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Inventory
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Proficient in SQL with a strong focus on query optimization
- Experience in Oracle Forms and Reports development, customization, and performance tuning
- Hands-on expertise in Oracle Database development, including PL/SQL coding and database performance optimization
KPIs Responsibilities:
- Guide to design program specifications > 90%
- Testing Modules > 90%
- Optimization of Source Code > 90%
- Writing Source Code > 90%
- Database Management > 90%
- ERP Management > 90%
- Documentation > 90%
- Train the Juniors > 75%

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Programing experience.
- Minimum 2 years in leading role
Education:
- BSCS/ MSCS from a Recognized University.
- Relevant ERP and Database Skills.
