Job brief
We are looking for a proficient Laravel Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in back end development using modern PHP frameworks. The ideal candidate should be capable of building robust APIs, ensuring secure data transactions, and optimizing back end performance. A strong understanding of database design, authentication mechanisms, and scalable architecture is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable back end logic using Laravel.
- Design and build RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front end applications.
- Ensure high performance and availability of applications by writing optimized queries and back end processes.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization systems (e.g., Laravel Sanctum/Passport).
- Collaborate closely with front end developers to align back end services with UI/UX workflows.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and follow version control best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and follow modern development workflows using Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of solid experience in Laravel (PHP) development.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Education: BSCS/ MSCS from a Recognized University.
- Proficient in MySQL/PostgreSQL, database migrations, Eloquent ORM, and query optimization.
- Experience in API development, token-based authentication, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with queues, schedulers, event broadcasting, and other Laravel services.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI for API testing/documentation.
- Comfort with Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
Additional Expertise Required:
- Exposure to Redis, Docker, Supervisor, and Cloud Hosting Environments (e.g., DigitalOcean, AWS).
- Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, Pusher, Laravel Echo).
- Familiarity with unit testing (PHPUnit, Pest) and code quality tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
