Triangle Decon Services has a future opportunity for a Construction Manager/Civil Engineer in metropolitan Los Angeles, CA. Multiple positions are anticipated in street, airport, and transportation construction.



Ideally, we will need these skills:

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale public infrastructure and horizontal construction projects
  • Oversee on-site construction inspections and ensure compliance with contract documents
  • Resolve complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements
  • Review change orders and administer documentation
  • Respond to RFIs and submittals, and provide technical recommendations
  • Provide monthly project progress reports
  • Review and approve contractor payments and oversee fiscal management for multiple construction projects
  • Oversee project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve issues and maintain project continuity
  • Coordinate materials testing
  • Support public outreach initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Manage project closeout activities and final documentation

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience managing civil construction on public projects in at least 1 of these areas: street, airport, transportation
  • 10+ years of experience managing large programs or individual projects of $30 million or more
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting construction plans, specifications, and public works contract documents
  • Strong verbal, written, and public speaking skills

Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management

Additional Preferred Experience:

  • A valid Professional Engineer License is a big plus
  • Program Management on horizontal projects
