Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Data Engineer to join our team. As a Clinical Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and databases for our healthcare clients. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of their clinical data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop data systems and databases for healthcare clients

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data needs and requirements

- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of clinical data

- Create and maintain data models and data dictionaries

- Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes

- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions

- Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes

- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to clients and internal teams

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics

- Train and support end-users on data systems and processes

- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role

- Experience in healthcare data management and analytics

- Proficiency in SQL and database design

- Experience with ETL tools and processes

- Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR) is a plus
