Epic Cadence Analyst - Healthcare IT


POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Analyst to join our Healthcare Tech Solutions team in the Triangle area (Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, NC). This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office presence in our Triangle location. As a Cadence Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Epic system configurations, supporting clinical workflows, and ensuring efficient healthcare IT operations.


LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT:

This position is STRICTLY LOCAL - Candidates must be able to work in-office 3 days per week in the Triangle area (Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, NC). Remote work is not available.


CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:

Candidates MUST be either US Citizens or Green Card holders. No visa sponsorship is available.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Epic Cadence module configurations and optimize system performance

Support clinical staff with Epic system training and troubleshooting

Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and workflows

Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to implement system enhancements

Monitor system performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities

Maintain compliance with healthcare IT standards and regulations

Provide technical support for Epic-related issues and escalations

Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities

Create and maintain test cases and validation documentation

Support workflow analysis and process improvements


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience with Epic EHR systems, specifically Cadence module

Strong knowledge of Epic system architecture and healthcare workflows

Experience with SQL and basic database concepts

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Healthcare IT industry experience

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Experience with system testing and quality assurance

Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements

Proficiency with Epic tools and configuration systems


NICE TO HAVE:

Epic Cadence certification or equivalent credentials

Experience with other Epic modules (Ambulatory, Inpatient, etc.)

Project management experience

Leadership or mentoring experience

Experience with healthcare data analytics


EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

Position Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: 3 days per week in-office (Tuesday-Thursday preferred), 2 days remote
