P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $29.55 - $31.49 per hour Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekend rotation, flexible with schedule We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. As a PTA in our facility, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for our elderly patients to improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical condition - Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist - Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote independent movement and prevent injury - Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines for patient care and confidentiality Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program - Current state PTA license - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients - Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care - Flexibility in schedule to meet the needs of our patients We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
