P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with a weekend rotation Facility: 115 bed skilled nursing facility offering long-term and short-term rehab We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions - Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals - Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and function - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards for physical therapy practice Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant - CPR certification - Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational and time-management skills We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
