Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a high-level inpatient acute rehabilitation assignment in Oakland, CA.

This role is ideal for clinicians with strong neuro and acute rehab experience looking to work with a complex, multidisciplinary patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient acute rehab setting

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Treat complex cases including:

  • Stroke (CVA)

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • Spinal cord injury (SCI)

  • Cancer rehab

  • Neurological and orthopedic conditions

• Perform ADL training, mobility interventions, and cognitive rehab

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active California OT License (required at submission)

• BLS Certification (AHA, in hand)

• Minimum 2+ years of experience

• Acute Inpatient Rehab experience REQUIRED

• Neuro experience REQUIRED

• Ability to manage complex rehab patient populations

Preferred

• EPIC EMR experience

• Experience in large hospital rehab programs

Assignment Details

• 58-bed inpatient acute rehab unit

• Adult & geriatric population

• Multidisciplinary team environment

• Complex caseload including neuro and trauma patients

• Weekend coverage may be required

• Must meet 50-mile travel requirement
