Position: Speech Language Pathologist Salary Range: $44/hr-$55/hr Work Hours: 35 hours per week, weekdays and weekends (flexibility available) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Center We are currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the SNF center. This is a critical need position and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality speech therapy services to our patients. As an SLP, you will work with patients of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy to help patients improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patients' needs - Provide therapy sessions to patients in accordance with treatment plans - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care for patients - Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and provide strategies for improving communication and swallowing abilities - Stay up-to-date on advancements in speech therapy and incorporate new techniques into treatment plans Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - Experience working with patients in a SNF setting preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
