P-Assistant Director of Rehab

Job Title: P-Assistant Director of Rehab Location: Waldorf, MD Salary: $70,000-$90,000 PTA or COTA Hours: 40 hours/week Schedule: Monday-Friday | No weekend rotation Restrictions / Notes: New grads cannot be considered Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P-Assistant Director of Rehab to join our team in Waldorf, MD. As the P-Assistant Director of Rehab, you will work closely with the Director of Rehab to oversee the daily operations of our rehabilitation department. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with strong leadership skills and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities: - Assist in the management and supervision of the rehab team, including therapists and support staff - Collaborate with the Director of Rehab to develop and implement treatment plans for patients - Conduct patient evaluations and provide hands-on therapy as needed - Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary - Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures - Assist in the hiring, training, and evaluation of rehab staff - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development Requirements: - Must hold a valid PTA or COTA license in the state of Maryland - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF setting - Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
