P-Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist - Geriatric

Salary Range: $42.61-$45.42 per hour

Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday (no weekend rotation)

Experience: Preferably 2 years of experience working with geriatric population

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide services to our geriatric patients. This position offers a competitive salary range of $42.61-$45.42 per hour, with a schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday (no weekend rotation).

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' speech, language, and swallowing needs

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Provide therapy and interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies

- Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist

- Preferably 2 years of experience working with geriatric population

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
