P -Respiratory Therapist

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Salary Range: $30 - $34 per hour

Position Overview:

 As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with breathing difficulties and other cardiopulmonary disorders. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $30 - $34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans

- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy

- Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilators as needed

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

- Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly

- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment

- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate respiratory support as needed

- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy

- Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

- Experience working in a vent unit preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Willingness to work 3/12 hour shifts as needed
