About the job P-Speech Language Pathologist
Position: Speech Language Pathologist
Salary Range: $38.00-$47.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (No weekend rotation)
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages improve their communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and educators, to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication outside of therapy sessions
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with individuals of all ages and a variety of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
