Position: Speech Language Pathologist Salary Range: $45 to $58 per hour Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation) Location: Very small SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a very small SNF. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients to diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, as well as monitoring and documenting progress. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals - Provide therapy sessions to patients using evidence-based techniques and strategies - Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care for patients - Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing skills - Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports - Stay current with advancements and best practices in the field of speech language pathology Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology - State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a SNF or geriatric population - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $45 to $58 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
