Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care facility in Dallas, TX.

This role focuses on improving residents' communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities, helping enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapy to improve communication, comprehension, and swallowing function

• Reduce aspiration risk and support safe feeding practices

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and techniques

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Texas SLP License (or Compact License)

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience REQUIRED

• Experience in LTC or geriatric settings preferred

• Strong communication and patient care skills

Assignment Details

• 40 hours guaranteed

• 8-hour day shifts

• No call or weekend requirements

• Adult patient population

• Long-term care setting
