Pay Package

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,300/week

Travel compensation packages may include a mix of taxable pay and stipends, depending on eligibility.

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a home health assignment in the Suburban Maryland (DC Metro) area.

This role involves providing in-home care across multiple counties, focusing on functional mobility, chronic conditions, and post-acute recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home evaluations and develop individualized care plans

• Provide skilled PT services for adult and geriatric patients

• Complete OASIS documentation using HomeCare HomeBase (REQUIRED)

• Manage a caseload across assigned zip codes

• Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, and home programs

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams

• Travel between patient homes within assigned territory

Requirements

• Active Maryland PT License

• Minimum 2 years of experience REQUIRED

• Home Health experience REQUIRED

• OASIS + HomeCare HomeBase experience REQUIRED

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

First-time travelers accepted (with strong HH + OASIS experience)

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 40 hours guaranteed

• Coverage area includes:

  • Montgomery County

  • Prince George's County

  • Charles County

  • St. Mary's County

• Assigned to specific zip codes based on need

• Mileage reimbursement: $0.58/mile (between patients)

• No call or weekend requirements

Important Notes

• Locals within 60 miles accepted at lower rate

• Floating to other zip codes may be required

• No RTO allowed in first 2 weeks

• Max 7 days RTO per contract

• Labs and drug screen required within 48 hours of signing

• 2 supervisor references required

• Candidates may be submitted to only one MedStar location at a time
