P-Assistant Director of Rehab

Position: Assistant Director of Rehab Location: Westbrook, ME [Westbrook, Maine, United States] Pay: $30-$46 per hour, depending on discipline Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation required Restrictions/Notes: New graduates cannot be considered. Open to Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, or Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Rehab to join our team in Westbrook, ME. As the Assistant Director of Rehab, you will work closely with the Director of Rehab to oversee the daily operations of our rehabilitation department. Responsibilities: - Assist the Director of Rehab in managing and supervising the rehabilitation team - Provide direct patient care and perform evaluations and treatments as needed - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly - Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies - Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education opportunities - Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new rehabilitation staff - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients Requirements: - Valid state license in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting - Prior supervisory or management experience preferred - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Passion for providing high-quality patient care We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
