Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient rehabilitation role in Colorado.

This position primarily focuses on outpatient care with occasional inpatient evaluation coverage. The therapist will treat a diverse patient population and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments

  • Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual therapy

  • Assist patients with mobility, strength, and recovery goals

  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Care Setting

  • Primarily Outpatient Rehabilitation

  • Occasional inpatient evaluation coverage

  • May float between nearby clinic locations (within ~15 miles)

Patient Population

  • Adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

  • Orthopedic and neurological conditions

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

  • Chronic musculoskeletal disorders

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience (1 year may be considered)

  • Active Colorado PT License or Compact License (required at submission)

  • BLS Certification (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS Certification

  • Experience in outpatient and acute care settings

  • Familiarity with EMR systems (OBix, McKesson, etc.)

Scheduling & Assignment Details

  • 40 hours guaranteed per week

  • No block scheduling (standard weekday schedule)

  • Occasional weekend coverage (~once every 2 months)

  • Floating required within scope

Important Notes

  • License must be in hand at submission

  • RTO must be finalized at submission

  • No RTO allowed in the first 2 weeks

  • Maximum 10 days RTO allowed

  • Two recent supervisory references required
