Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,338.13
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient rehabilitation setting in North Carolina.

This role focuses on treating primarily orthopedic patients, helping them restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional independence. The therapist will work in a collaborative clinical environment and manage a steady caseload of patients requiring individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and reassessments

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training

  • Implement rehabilitation techniques for orthopedic conditions

  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Care Setting

  • Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic

  • Primarily orthopedic patient population (~90%)

  • Average of ~12 patients per day

Patient Population

  • Orthopedic injuries and conditions

  • Post-operative rehabilitation

  • Sports-related injuries

  • Musculoskeletal disorders

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) – REQUIRED (Hard Stop)

  • Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience

  • Active North Carolina PT License or eligibility

  • BLS Certification (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cerner EMR

  • Strong background in orthopedic and outpatient rehabilitation

Scheduling & Assignment Details

  • Full-time outpatient schedule

  • No weekend or on-call requirements

  • Locals accepted at same rate

  • No travel pairs allowed

Important Notes

  • Professional dress code required (no scrubs)

  • RTO must be submitted at time of application

  • Two supervisory references required

  • Candidates must provide updated documentation and Nursys
