Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for an inpatient rehab role at UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC.

This role focuses on helping patients regain independence following stroke, cardiac, pulmonary, and debility-related conditions.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina OT License (in-hand at submission)

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Experience in:

  • Inpatient Rehab (preferred)

  • Acute care, SNF, or home health

• EPIC EMR experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Setting: Inpatient Rehab (IRF)

• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics

• Floating:

  • Ideally yes, but may be limited to IP rehab depending on candidate

Facility Overview

• Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF)

• Daily census: ~9 patients

• Patient ratio: ~6 patients

• Diagnoses include:

  • Stroke (CVA)

  • Cardiac & pulmonary conditions

  • Amputations

  • General debility

• Therapy intensity: ~3 hours/day

• Equipment: lifts and transfer devices

• EMR: EPIC

Important Notes

• No locals (50-mile radius rule)

• RTO must be included at submission

• No call required

• Manager interview required

• High-priority role (active submissions)
