Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Critical Need

Schedule: 10-Hour Shifts (4x10 preferred) | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a critical need position at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center.

This role focuses on outpatient and hospital-based pediatric care, including specialized treatment for infants and complex feeding/swallowing conditions.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations
  • Treat pediatric and infant patients with feeding and developmental disorders
  • Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) for infants
  • Manage cases involving cleft palate and sensory feeding issues
  • Develop individualized care plans and therapy goals
  • Educate families and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

Active Oregon SLP License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Outpatient + Hospital experience required
Experience with:

  • Infant/NICU patients
  • MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Studies)
  • Cleft palate therapy
  • Pediatric sensory feeding

Scheduling & Assignment Details

  • Preferred Schedule: 4x10 shifts
  • Alternative: 5x8 shifts
  • Shift Timing: Between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
  • Contract: 13 weeks (potential extension up to 26 weeks)
