Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

The COTA will support the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services that help patients improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans

• Support patients with therapeutic exercises and ADLs (activities of daily living)

• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Encourage and support patients throughout their recovery process

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Ensure treatment areas and equipment are clean and organized

Requirements

• Active Missouri COTA License

• BLS/CPR Certification required

• Experience in LTC or rehabilitation settings preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of occupational therapy experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations
