Schedule: Day Shift | 8-Hour Days | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a long-term care rehabilitation setting in Rolla, MO.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and design individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring mobility, improving strength and balance, and helping residents maintain independence in their daily activities.

This role focuses on delivering compassionate therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Implement therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
Assist patients with gait training and functional mobility activities
Improve patient independence with daily activities such as standing, walking, and transferring
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams

Patient Population

Patients treated may include individuals with:

Mobility impairments due to injury or illness
Post-surgical rehabilitation needs
Chronic medical conditions affecting mobility
Balance and gait disorders
Functional limitations requiring rehabilitation support

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
Active Missouri Physical Therapist License
Valid driver's license in the state of employment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings
Knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations and guidelines

Scheduling & Assignment Details

40 hours guaranteed per week
No on-call duties
No weekend requirements
