Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, no weekend rotation Salary: $28-35 per hour We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and no weekend rotation required. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques - Monitor and document patient progress, including range of motion, strength, and functional abilities - Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises to improve their condition and prevent future injuries - Communicate with Physical Therapists about patient progress and any changes in treatment plans - Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions - Maintain a clean and organized treatment area - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care, such as physicians and occupational therapists Requirements: - Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - Valid state PTA license - CPR certification - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with exercises and transfers - Attention to detail and ability to follow treatment plans accurately - Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred We offer a competitive salary of $28-35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
