P-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position: P-Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: 252 bed SNF Salary: $28-$29 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week, any 5 days, weekend rotation, possible float to neighboring sites if needed. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at a 252 bed skilled nursing facility. As a P-Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their needs and goals - Monitor and document patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve daily functioning - Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities - Adhere to all professional and ethical standards in accordance with state and federal regulations Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program - Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting - Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work weekends and float to neighboring sites if needed - New graduates will not be considered for this position We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
