Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation
Salary: $38-$44 per hour
Location: 151 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at a 151 bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their physical health and mobility, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and monitor treatment plans to improve patients' strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination
- Provide education and instruction to patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve physical function and prevent injury
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Document and maintain accurate records of patients' progress and treatment plans
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards for physical therapy practice
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform job duties
- CPR certification preferred
