Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 100% outpatient sports medicine setting in Santa Fe, NM.

This role focuses on treating musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions, helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to optimal function.

Clinical Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Evaluate and treat patients with:
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Sports-related conditions
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Cardiorespiratory limitations
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans

Therapy Interventions

• Provide:
  • Therapeutic exercises
  • Manual therapy
  • Mobility and strengthening programs
  • Pain management interventions
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress

Clinical Skills

• Orthopedic rehabilitation
• Sports injury management
• Functional movement training
• Return-to-activity protocols

Documentation

• Maintain accurate patient records
• Track progress and treatment outcomes
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Physicians
  • Rehab team
  • Patients and families

Scheduling & Work Details

• Shift: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekends
• No on-call
• Stable outpatient schedule

Required Qualifications

Active New Mexico PT License
BLS Certification
Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT/BPT)

Preferred Qualifications

Outpatient / sports medicine experience
Strong orthopedic background
Excellent communication skills
