Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatrics Salary Range: $26-34 per hour, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Our 58-bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. We offer a range of services including post-hospital rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care to meet the diverse needs of our residents. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to our geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development and implementation of treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patients' progress. You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and a passion for helping older adults maintain their independence and mobility. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
