Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care and rehabilitation assignment in Largo, FL.

This role provides an opportunity to work in a busy hospital environment treating a wide range of patient diagnoses, from orthopedic cases to medically complex conditions. Physical Therapists play a critical role in patient recovery, with therapy services involved in a large portion of patient care plans.

This assignment is ideal for therapists with acute care or LTAC experience who enjoy working in collaborative, fast-paced clinical settings.

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Acute Care OR LTAC experience — REQUIRED
• ICU experience preferred
• Ability to evaluate and treat diverse patient populations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive, adaptable clinical approach

Clinical Environment

Therapist will work with:

• Acute care patients
• Post-surgical rehabilitation cases
• Orthopedic patients
• Cardiac and medically complex patients
• ICU-level patients (preferred experience)

Equipment includes:

• Standard mobility devices
• Hospital-based rehabilitation equipment

Documentation System:

• Meditech EMR

Team Environment

You will collaborate with:

• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech Language Pathologists
• Nursing Staff
• Rehabilitation Support Staff

The rehab department includes approximately:

• 10 Physical Therapists
• 5 Occupational Therapists
• 3+ Speech Language Pathologists

• Floating to related units may occur
• Patient caseload can be busy
