Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a role in Overland Park, KS.

This is a float position across acute care and inpatient rehab units, with a primary need for weekend coverage.

Requirements

• Active OT License (KS or Compact if applicable)

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Experience in acute care required

• Inpatient rehab experience preferred

• Comfortable working in a float role across multiple units

Assignment Details

• Schedule:

  • Day Shift (8-hour shifts)

  • Weekend coverage required (Saturday & Sunday)

• Duration: 8 weeks (short-term assignment)

• Patient Load:

  • 8–10 acute patients OR 4 rehab patients

• EMR: Meditech

Facility Overview

• Float across multiple units (acute + rehab)

• Team of 11–12 OTs daily

• Equipment includes:

  • Hoyer lifts

  • EZ Stands

  • BITS system

  • Xcite devices

• Growing inpatient rehab unit with new technology:

  • Barihab system

  • BURT rehabilitation device

Important Notes

• Weekend-focused assignment

• No call required

• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color, professional appearance)

• Must be comfortable with varied patient acuity and float coverage
