Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Developmental Center / Long-Term Assignment

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a long-term assignment at a developmental center in Mount Vernon, OH.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating individuals with a wide range of physical and neurological conditions. The therapist will develop individualized rehabilitation programs, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support long-term functional outcomes.

Clinical Coverage Areas

Therapists will work with:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations using range of motion, gait, and functional analysis
  • Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments and adjust care plans as needed
  • Document and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Present findings and progress reports to interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in care planning, program development, and research activities
  • Assist in training students, PTAs, and therapy aides

Required Qualifications

Active Ohio Physical Therapist License
Minimum 1 year of PT experience
Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care or developmental settings
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Experience mentoring students or junior staff

Scheduling & Assignment Details

  • Flexible schedule (up to 40 hours per week)
  • Typical shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (can expand based on need)
  • Long-term 52-week assignment for stability
