Position Overview

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation team in Lawton, Oklahoma. The PTA will perform selected physical therapy procedures under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.

The assistant will treat patients using therapeutic modalities and exercise in accordance with approved treatment plans and within the scope of PTA practice. Patient populations may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities according to patient needs

• Assist in documenting daily treatment notes and discharge summaries

• Maintain a clean, organized therapy department

• Understand scope limitations and consult with supervising PT as needed

• Deliver care to patients across multiple age groups

• Support interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma PTA License (must be active at time of submission)

• 2 years of Acute Care and Medical-Surgical PTA experience – REQUIRED

• BLS Certification (AHA required)

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent travel experience
