Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an assignment at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA.

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs. This role focuses on improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional independence.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and functional assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Use appropriate techniques considering indications and contraindications
• Set realistic functional goals with patients and families
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Ensure accurate and compliant documentation

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist License (State of CA required)
BLS Certification (AHA required)
Ability to perform evaluations, treatments, and care planning
Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills

Scheduling & Assignment Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Compliance Requirements

Candidates must complete all onboarding requirements including:

• BLS Certification
• Health screening (TB, vaccinations, etc.)
• Drug screen & background check
• Skills checklist & competency validation
• Orientation and required training modules
