Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a short-term inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Odessa, TX.

This role involves evaluating and treating patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in an inpatient rehabilitation environment. The therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapist License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification — REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
• Strong inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written and verbal instructions

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 06/28/2026
• Duration: 6 Weeks
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Contract Length: 6 Weeks

Patient Population

Therapist will treat:

• Inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Post-surgical recovery patients
• Neurological rehabilitation cases
• Mobility and functional recovery patients

Important Notes

• Short 6-week contract — good for quick placement
• ACLS required in addition to BLS
• No weekend scheduling required
• Must hold active Texas PT license prior to start
• Low submission competition noted
