Position Overview
We are hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a pediatric outpatient setting in Willmar, MN.
This role focuses on treating children with communication, speech, and developmental challenges in a structured outpatient rehab environment.
Facility & Work Setting
- Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Rehab

Schedule:
- Mon–Thu: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Patient Population: Pediatrics
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes (paid even if canceled)
Key Responsibilities
Evaluation & Assessment
-
Assess pediatric patients for:
- Speech and language delays
- Cognitive-communication disorders
- Feeding/swallowing issues
Therapy & Treatment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide:
- Speech therapy
- Language intervention
- Feeding/swallowing therapy
Progress Tracking
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Modify treatment plans as needed
Collaboration

Work with:
- Families
- Caregivers
- Interdisciplinary rehab teams
Documentation
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Scheduling & Work Details
- Monday – Friday schedule
- No weekends
- Guaranteed hours (rare benefit )
- Stable outpatient workflow
Requirements
Must Have
Active Minnesota SLP License (IN HAND)
Minimum 1 year SLP experience
Pediatric or rehab experience
Preferred
Pediatric outpatient experience
Travel experience
Strong communication skills
Important Compliance Notes
Locals NOT accepted (must live 25+ miles away)
MN license must be active at submission
Fingerprinting required in MN before start
Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of offer
Max 7 days RTO, none in first 2 weeks
