Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend rotation Experience Level: Experienced (cannot take new grads) Facility: 155-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at our 155-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekend rotation. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to our patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the presence and severity of speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient needs - Provide direct therapy services to patients, including but not limited to articulation, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing therapy - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders and provide strategies for improving communication and swallowing abilities - Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient care plans - Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of speech-language pathology Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a SNF setting - Knowledge and experience in conducting evaluations and providing treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Must be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks - Strong documentation and record-keeping skills - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
