Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an Acute Care Rehab role at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
This role involves treating patients across multiple units in a large acute care hospital, delivering hands-on therapy for a wide variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy across multiple hospital units

Treat conditions such as:
- Stroke / neurological disorders
- Orthopedic injuries
- Cardiopulmonary conditions
- Utilize mobility equipment (SARA+, walkers, lifts)
- Educate patients and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Required Qualifications
Active North Carolina PT License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year experience (Acute Care preferred)
Strong adaptability in hospital setting
Preferred Experience
Acute Care hospital experience
Neuro, Ortho, and Cardio rehab exposure
Experience working across multiple units
Scheduling & Assignment Details
- Schedule: Friday – Monday
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours: ~40 hours/week
- Weekend-heavy schedule (3–4 days)
Compliance Requirements
Must have NC PT license at submission
BLS required
Acute care experience strongly preferred
