Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for an acute care hospital setting in Lehigh Acres, FL.

The PTA will assist Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation treatments, improving patient mobility, and supporting recovery across various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assist PTs with:
  • Therapy sessions
  • Rehabilitation exercises
  • Mobility training
• Provide treatments for:
  • Strength and endurance
  • Functional mobility
  • Balance and coordination

Clinical Duties

• Implement treatment plans designed by PT
• Monitor patient response and progress
• Adjust techniques under PT supervision
• Assist with transfers and patient movement

Documentation

• Record patient progress and treatment sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Physical Therapists
  • Nurses
  • Healthcare team

Scheduling & Requirements

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Day shifts only

Required Qualifications

Active Florida PTA License
Minimum 1 year PTA experience
BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Acute care or hospital experience
Strong teamwork & communication skills
