Pay Package
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 /week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Cumming, Georgia.
The SLP will provide speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and treatments for patients across multiple hospital units, including medical/surgical, ICU, neurological, and stroke populations.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide dysphagia assessments and therapy services

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams

Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes

Educate patients and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies

Support patients with neurological, respiratory, and cognitive impairments
Requirements
-
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Georgia SLP License
-
BLS Certification (AHA)
-
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

Experience in acute care settings preferred
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS)

Experience with FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)

Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
