Pay Package
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100/week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Canton, Georgia.
The SLP will support patients throughout the hospital system, providing evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across a variety of medical and surgical populations.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy programs

Provide dysphagia assessments and therapy services

Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Educate patients and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies

Treat patients with neurological, respiratory, and complex medical conditions
Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active SLP License
-
CCC-SLP Certification required
-
BLS Certification (AHA)
-
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
Preferred Qualifications

Acute care experience
-
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS)

Experience with FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)
