Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a rehab-focused hospital in Highlands, NC.

This role offers a diverse caseload across acute care, swing bed, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings, working within a highly collaborative rehab team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapy across multiple settings (acute, SNF, outpatient)

• Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP team on patient care and discharge planning

• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary rounds

• Document care using Cerner and NetHealth systems

• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery

Requirements

• Active North Carolina PT License

• CPR Certification (Required)

• Minimum 3 years of medical/hospital experience preferred

• Experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings REQUIRED

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week

• Floating required between rehab settings

• Patient ratio: 1:1 care

• Facility includes:

  • 24 acute/swing beds

  • 40 nursing home beds (5-star facility)

  • 10 skilled beds

• Access to multiple rehab gyms + outdoor therapy space (expanding)
