Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Home Health assignment with Sutter Health Care at Home Bay Atlantic in Alameda, CA.

This role focuses on providing speech therapy services in a home-based setting, helping patients improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions while maintaining independence.

Facility Information

• Facility: Sutter Health Care at Home Bay Atlantic

• Charting System: Epic (Preferred)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (POC)
• Treat conditions such as:
  • Dysphagia
  • Speech & language disorders
  • Neurological conditions (CVA, TBI)
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations & advanced assessments
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

Active California SLP License
BLS Certification (AHA/Red Cross)
SLP-CF Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience
Home Health experience preferred

Preferred Skills

Dysphagia & swallow studies (FEES/MBSS)
OASIS documentation
Neurological rehab experience
Epic charting experience

Scheduling & Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Block scheduling available

Compliance Requirements

Must complete lab work within 3–5 days of signing
2 supervisor references (within last year) required
7-year work history verification required
Must include Sutter cover sheet at submission

Important Notes

• Locals accepted at lower rate
• 50-mile travel requirement
• Only 1 holiday RTO allowed
• Modules: Non-billable (1–5 hrs avg)
