community Position: Physical Therapist (P-Physical Therapist) Salary Range: $44.00 - $50.00 per hour Schedule: 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, no weekend rotation Experience: Must have previous experience as a Physical Therapist, new graduates will not be considered. Client: AL/IL/Memory Care community Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at our AL/IL/Memory Care community. As a P-Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of residents' physical abilities and needs - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and resident goals - Provide hands-on therapy to residents to improve their strength, mobility, balance, and overall physical function - Monitor and document residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all therapy sessions and resident progress - Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy practices Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - Current state license as a Physical Therapist - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a senior living or rehabilitation setting - Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.
