Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Salary Range: $42-$62 per hour Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, No weekend rotation Facility: 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at our 99-bed SNF. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and experience working in a SNF setting. Responsibilities: - Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities - Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals - Provide therapy and interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills - Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Stay current with new developments and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF setting - Experience with geriatric population preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements - CPR certification Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $42-$62 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
