Position: Physical Therapist (P) Salary Range: $44.80 - $49.23 per hour Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (No weekend rotation) Location: Skilled nursing facility with mix of short term and long term care patients Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (P) to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing physical therapy services to patients of all ages and conditions. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $44.80 - $49.23 per hour. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine their physical therapy needs - Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength and endurance - Utilize a variety of techniques, such as exercise, massage, and manual therapy, to help patients achieve their treatment goals - Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care - Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercises to promote independence and long-term wellness - Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care for patients - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications: - Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting - Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to patients - CPR certification is required Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Professional development opportunities - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives We are committed to providing our patients with the best possible care and are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team.
